Established in 1992, Studio Pierallini is a multidisciplinary law firm based in Rome and Milan.

The Firm also assists clients in regulatory matters and advisory services, comprising assistance and planning for the representation before governmental agencies (such as antitrust, privacy and communication authorities) and contacts with civil aviation authorities, mainly in Italy and the European Union, but also abroad.

Our services encompass aircraft finance, lease and acquisition, regulatory, contentious, M&A, corporate and commercial, employment, tenders and procurement, insurance, tax and customs.

The broad experience of the Firm in aviation comprises, inter alia: representation of domestic and foreign companies engaged in air transport (both aircraft operators and helicopter operators); labour and regulatory advice; aircraft insurance work; assistance to ground handlers and airport managing companies; legal services in favour of Italian and foreign clients in relation to the acquisition, disposition and operation of commercial aircraft, including purchase, lease, charter and financing transactions; representation and filings before governmental agencies and civil aviation authorities; advising international leasing companies and financiers in connection with their aircraft business in Italy; structuring and creating security packages (e.g. assignments, warranties, pledges, mortgages); registration and de-registration of aircraft in Italy.

The Firm has dealt with IPOs of Italian airlines at the Milan stock exchange and M&A transactions involving domestic carriers, as well as advised airlines and airport handlers in respect of complex restructuring and insolvency procedures. Studio Pierallini has also assisted the first non EU wet leases – with non EU crews – to Italian carriers.
